Celi's concerts in Romania

Those of you who have read the Celi forum on Paul Smith's web site (
http://www.sri.net/celibidache/ ) may remember me raving about Celi's
concerts in Romania. Yesterday night I have met a Secretary of State in
the Romanian Ministry of Culture and naturally I have asked her about
the possibility of having Celi's Romanian concerts on CD. She did like
the idea but of course was concerned about copyright issues.
Nonetheless, she promissed me about looking into the issue and I hope to
meet her again in September when I'll be in Romania. I will of course
keep you posted; meanwhile if anybody is in touch with the Celibidache
estate can they ask Serge about his thoughts of a possible release on CD
of the Romanian concerts? I am especially talking about the concerts
Celi gave with the George Enescu Philharmonic of Bucharest, because I
assume that for his concerts given with the Munich Philharmonic EMI or
the orchestra have the copyright - although I'm not so sure if the MPO
Bucharest concerts were even broadcast.
