In February 1999 Deutsche Grammophon introduces its Celibidache Edition, =
a
major event in the world of recordings, which will ultimately feature wor=
ks
from all periods of Sergiu Celibidache's career. The first releases in
the Celibidache Edition document the conductor's period at the SWR
Stuttgart Radio Symphony Orchestra. The d=E9but release, the Brahms
Symphonies, recorded in the mid-1970's, will be available in many
territories in February.
