Hello.
I know Lugano, because my mother went few years ago and she said Lugano is very good place.
Did A.b.Michelangeli,Celi's favorite pianist, live there, didn't he ?

Many many Celibidache CDs are available in Japan.(but these are available in few store.)
Label names are Meteor,Audior, the Bells of St.Flolian,Durum Can,Dumca,Sardana, etc.
If you want to know the details of these discs, see http://www.bekkoame.or.jp/~hippo/musik/records/index.html.
It is possible to send you those CDs by air.
I bought those CDs at over 2,000 yen per 1CD,but now most of those are available at about 1,500 yen (+5% tax)per 1CD.(because clearance sale are holding in my Univercity's CD store)
Most of them are limited,so if you want, please mail me soon.

Meteor were made few years ago.And about 30 titles which conducted by Celibidache(about 10 titles were played with SDR,and others with Munich Phil.) were published.
Audior were made 1 or 2 years ago ,and about 50 titles(about 15CDs with SDR,2CDs with Staatskapelle Berlin !!,1966,and the others with MPO) were published .
Most famous works, like Beethoven,Brahms,Bruckner,Tchaikovsky,Dvorak,Prokofiev,Mozart,Franck,Ravel, etc.,are available in these CDs.
Some works are available in different performance.
EMI edition are selling, and some works are doubled.
But EMI are mostly recorded in '90s, while Audior and Meteor are mostly recorded by '80s,so performance are complately different.
I found different fascination between '90s and '80s,
These CDs are limitedly pressed,so some are sold out.
I suspect most of these recording sorce are Air check, because low level noise, like FM radio, are included in many titles.
But the sound are very clear, and the performance are great.

PS DG Edition of the legacy of Celibidache (Brahms complate symphonies with SDR) will publish in Japan on Dec.24th,1998.

Thank you.
